Almost a third of the country is a national park or has been designated a nature reserve. With an area of just over 51,000 square kilometers, Costa Rica is not much larger than Switzerland.

Costa Rica has many treasures, but these are not mineral resources, but purely natural treasures. You can experience a lot of natural beauty here, including active volcanoes with bubbling hot springs, tropical rain, elf and cloud forests, tropical rivers that invite you to go rafting, wetlands, fantastic beaches on the Pacific and Atlantic, and an incredible variety of flora and fauna and much more.

And the special thing about Costa Rica is: all of this is really protected and is protected not only by the law, but also by the generally very conscious population.

The Posada Nena is an ideal starting point for a Costa Rica trip. From here we plan and organize your trip through the whole country and provide you with the necessary tools: rental car, GPS, cell phone, maps, tour recommendations and travel tips.

The Posada Nena Caribbean, which was only added in 2022, is located in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, right in town, in a quiet side street, but only a few meters from the town and the Caribbean beach. Here we once again offer our usual quality and hospitality and are already looking forward to your visit.
